WEEE WASTE IS A GROWING PROBLEM

E-waste is the world’s fastest-growing waste stream, with over 57 million tonnes generated globally each year—and only a fraction of that is properly recycled.

If we don’t take action, this figure is set to more than double to 120 million tonnes by 2050 (World Economic Forum).

In the UK alone, over 1.5 million tonnes of e-waste are produced annually, with more than 200,000 tonnes of business electricals still ending up in landfill or being improperly disposed of.
